Animal Trivia Night (Support's Potsdam Community Dog Park)
We are gearing up for all the repairs needed in the Dog Park! Please come enjoy the crazy and fun facts about animals and support the Dog Park at the same time!
Light appetizers and fabulous desserts provided by Marigold Kitchen and Bakery as part of ticket fee. Cash bar available. Lottery board tickets are also being sold as well as Dog Park t-shirts.
So grab some friends and come support your Potsdam Community Dog Park at this fun event! All proceeds go to the repair and maintenance of the park.
The American Legion of Potsdam is fully accessible and we welcome all.
Why we need your help: we have sustained considerable damage to the park’s fencing and gates during the winter storms and are in much need of repairs. We are also hoping to add a dog drinking water line and build a gazebo this summer. All proceeds from this event will be used to protect the dogs of the North Country and their people by making our Dog Park safer and cleaner.

All teams have the chance to win prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place, as well as for Best Team Name and Best Team Costume, so start brainstorming!
Why we’re here: in the news we read about dogs falling through the ice, dogs running off, dogs getting hit by cars… the Dog Park is here for your safety and for your dogs’ safety. Located behind the Potsdam Humane Society, the Potsdam Community Dog Park provides an off-leash, enriching environment for dogs and their people free of charge. The three-acre fenced-in park is sustained by local volunteers, and is open dawn to dusk, 365 days a year. The Potsdam Community Dog Park is incorporated as not-for-profit organization under New York State law. The IRS has designated it as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and donations to the Dog Park are tax-deductible.
