A sure sign that spring has sprung is the upcoming St. Lawrence County Historical Association 29th annual Antique & Artisan Show and Sale. A numberof antique dealers and artisans from all over the North Country have registered for booth space at this not-to-be missed show and sale, scheduled for Saturday, April 27th, 10 am to 4 pm. Admission is $4, and there is ample free parking at the school.
Sponsored by Blanchard's Auction Service, Mort Backus & Sons, Niles Asset Management, Inc., and FidelisCare, the SLCHA Antique & Artisan Show and Sale will be held at McKenney Middle School, 99 State Street, Canton, NY.
Vendors from St. Lawrence, Franklin, Jefferson, and Lewis Counties will have a wide variety of beautiful, interesting and unique items on hand that you can't live without! Some of the vendors will also be giving informational talks during the day on their areas of collecting.
Antique Appraisals by Fleur de Lis Estate Services of Canton, an accredited and certified appraisal service. One item may be appraised per paid admission to the event.
Silent Auction with over 150 antique and collectible items, including rocking chairs, stoneware crocks, lamps, glassware, jewelry, framed art, china, advertising tins, and even a wooden toboggan! Bidding ends at 3:30 pm.

Quilt Raffle. Enter for a chance to win the fabulous queen-size, blue and green star quilt made by Penny Vorwald of Stony Brook, NY. Raffle tickets for a chance on this colorful quilt are $1 each, six for $5, or twelve for $10. Tickets are available at the St. Lawrence County Historical Association at the Silas Wright House, 3 East Main St., Canton, during open hours. Raffle tickets will also be available the day of the show at McKenney Middle School. The winning ticket will be drawn at the show; you do not have to be present to win.
All proceeds from the show will benefit the St. Lawrence County Historical Association.
