Event Description:
CYCLE THE ST. LAWRENCE
Ride along the waters of the St. Lawrence Seaway! The ADK Foothills Cycling Club will be hosting a cycling event, Cycle The St. Lawrence, on Sunday August 27, starting with a sunrise over the St. Lawrence. As you ride, continue with views of storybook castles and lighthouses from the river, with vineyards and Amish Farms on the shores of Black Lake. Your day will end with an after-party celebration at Bonnie Castle in Alexandria Bay filled with music, delicious food, and a breathtaking river-view sunset!
This ride is in the heart of the 1,000 Islands, where the St. Lawrence River’s headwaters begin flowing from Lake Ontario; connecting The Great Lakes to the North Atlantic.
Three routes are available, with both recreational and competitive timed options for each:
The St. Lawrence Century - 100 miles (Timed) $95
St. Lawrence Seaway Century - 100 miles (Recreational) $85
Le Fleuve Saint-Laurent Metric Century - 62 miles (Timed) $90
Le Fleuve Saint-Laurent Metric Century - 62 miles (Recreational) $85
Lighthouses & Castles - 32 miles (Recreational) $85
Lighthouses & Castles - 32 miles (Junior under 14) $35

- Le Fleuve Saint-Laurent Metric Century: 62 miles of river and lake views, with Bonnie Castle hosting the finish and after-party.
- Lighthouses & Castles: 35 miles of the best views the 1,000 Islands have to offer, also ending at Bonnie Castle.

- Provide a item for swag bags - Items to feature interests in health, recreation, experiences, cycling, etc.
- Volunteer - With so many miles to cover, help lend a hand along a route directing course turns and safety support, rest/aid stations, etc.
