The festival’s first major event is a feature on Fobare’s, which will offer a unique barbecue menu including sweet corn, roasted peanuts and pulled pork from 6 to 10 p.m.
Friday will also feature live music from the Waydown Wailers from 6 to 10 p.m., big wheel races, a Texas horseshoe tournament and fireworks on the bridge in the village at dusk.
On Saturday, a craft show will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., there will be a parade at 11 a.m. and more family games and activities will be available throughout the day. There will be more live music from Rob Larrabee and Donald Woodcock, and the fire department will operate a beer tent Friday and Saturday nights.
