Food Sampling in Potsdam

It’s S’more time at the Potsdam Food Co-op's 3rd Thursday Sampling on May 17th. From 3:30 - 5:30 pm the Co-op will celebrate the end of winter by making the best S’mores in the North Country! Stop by and taste the difference good ingredients can make. First we will begin with the graham cracker; regular or gluten-free. If you are sensitive to gluten or other allergens - no problem. S'moreables Graham Style Crackers by Kinnikinnick are the answer. These delicious crackers are vegan and free of gluten, nuts, and dairy, as well as other major allergens. If food allergies are not a problem we will also be serving Annie’s Organic Honey Graham Crackers. Made with 100% organic ingredients they contain no additives, preservatives, or artificial ingredients. Next, it’s all about the chocolate! Select creamy Pure Milk or smooth Rich Dark. These chocolate bars by Chocolove are made with premium Belgian chocolate and select ingredients, all combined to make some of the best tasting chocolate available. Finally, the marshmallow! We will serve Dandies; a delicious marshmallow with all natural ingredients and NO high fructose corn syrup, gelatin, or artificial food dye blue #1. They are also the first ever marshmallow to be Non-GMO Project Verified, in addition to being kosher and 100% vegan. These light and fluffy marshies are perfect on S'mores, roasting over a campfire, and adding to your hot chocolate. The Potsdam Food Co-op & Carriage House Bakery and Deli is located at 24 Elm St. and is open daily from 8am to 7pm. It is a member-owned cooperative grocery store (although membership is not required) where everyone is welcome to shop and anyone is welcome to join.
