OGDENSBURG, NY - The Frederic Remington Art Museum will be combining forces with MOOD Fest, Music on the Oswegatchie Delta, to kick off their summer music series from 6 pm to 8 pm on Thursday June 8, 2017. Mood Fest organizer and local music legend Pat Duffy is transforming the former festival with new vision this year. The new MOOD Series will be low-key Thursdaynight events at venues in Odgensburg's cultural district.
Enjoy live music at the series debut by Bill Clinger and Pat Duffy in the museum's Eleanor Vilas McNally Courtyard. The Wimpy's Inn food truck will be parked on museum property for the event. River Myst will have beverages available.
The event is rain or shine. If weather threatens, the event will take place in the Bouchard Family Parlors at 311 Washington St. No admission will be charged but there will be a 50/50 to benefit the Frederic Remington Art Museum, and a hat will be passed to pay the musicians.
Further Mood Series Thursdays will be scheduled throughout the season, at the Remington and beyond. Mood Series is also partnering with the Ogdensburg Public Library and Ogdensburg Parks and Recreation, using the Library Park Gazebo.
