Event Description:
NORWOOD BEACH DUATHLON
Norwood Beach will hold their second event of their summer Duathlon series on Wednesday, July 26. A duathlon is athletic event that combines 2 different types of movement, in this case biking and running. Participants will begin with a 1.5 mile run before hopping on a bike for 8 miles, finally capped off by a second 1.5 mile run to the finish line. Registration will take place at Norwood Beach from 5:00pm - 6:00pm with the event kicking off at 6:00pm. The Duathlon Series is open to the public and teams and individuals are welcome.
All bikers will be required to wear a helmet and participants under the age of 18 will require a parent or guardian's signature. Cost is $10 per participant for the remaining of the series.

The third and final Duathlon of the series will take place on Wednesday, August 23.
