WRITING TO RECONNECT CAMPFIRE
Nature Up North is hosting a Writing to Connect Campfire on Thursday, August 3 from 7:00 - 9pm at the Wachtmeister Field Station. Examine natural elements for the articulate expression of our shared environment and ourselves. Today, the way we often say that it's “too easy” to lose track of time on our phones for hours is similar to how we used to talk about the woods. Reimmerse, reunite and reconnect with natural surroundings by allow them to inspire and transport your mind to the page.
There will be a guided worksheet and method to go about this program, but feel free to do what feels most comfortable for you with your writing (you don’t have to strictly follow along) - and a guided packet for those under 12. This is for you to have and to hold for yourself and to strengthen your personal connection to our shared environment.
S’mores are provided, but please bring a book or something to write on. Paper and pens will be provided but, if you so desire, feel free to bring your own journal or favorite pen if you’ve got one!
