Potsdam Co-op Open House

The Potsdam Food Co-op will be celebrating 44 years in the North Country! JOIN US rain or shine under the big tents for a day of food, music, and fun! This festive event is open to everyone! Everyone who shops in the store on the day of the Open House will receive a 10% discount on their purchases! There will be food to sample from the Co-op’s own Carriage House Bakery and Deli in addition to samples from Co-op vendors: Squeak Creek Apiaries, Canton Apples; featuring Cider, and Guayaki Organic Yerba Mate. There will be art activities for kids including Tie-dyeing from 11am - 2pm (bring something to tie-dye!). Music will be provided throughout the day by local musicians; Mark Lyon, Nicholfalls, and Oscar Sarmiento & friends. Also, become a member or renew & receive free chocolate & entry into a drawing for a Co-op t-shirt! Current member-owners who refer a friend who become a member, will also be entered into the t-shirt drawing. Everyone is welcome to shop at the Co-op but our members keep us strong. Discover ways to get involved in the Co-op community and the benefits of being a Co-op member-owner! The Potsdam Food Co-op is located at 24 Elm St. It is open daily from 8am to 7pm. It is a member-owned cooperative grocery store (although membership is not required) where everyone is welcome to shop and anyone is welcome to join. It is committed to the community and local sustainability. Its emphasis is on providing natural and organic foods with the practice of buying from local and regional growers and producers. A large selection of specialty foods such as gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and vegan foods are also available.
