PRESENTING: MICROCREDENTIALS AT SUNY CANTON AND SUNY POTSDAM
The St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Lunch & Learn Webinar on Wednesday, February 14 featuring Microcredential offerings provided at SUNY Canton, presented by Dr. Liz Brown. Learn about credit bearing and non-credit bearing Microcredentials offered at SUNY Canton and how it could assist you and your staff. Liz will also highlight campus Micro Course Monday offerings and how they align with Microcredentials.
Provost Alan Hersker from SUNY Potsdam will present info on the Microcredentials Program. Microcredentials are short, flexible programs that can help you round out your degree, gain new skills or competencies, and help you in changing or advancing your career. SUNY is at the forefront of the microcredential movement, providing hundreds of high-quality, stackable credentials both online and in-person. In this presentation, Provost Hersker will give a preview of some of the microcredentials that the College will be rolling out over the next few months. Taught by members of our local community and designed to meet local needs, SUNY Potsdam microcredentials are a great way to grow personally and professionally.
