YELLOW BARN CONCERT SERIES
The Iva Smith Memorial Gallery of Fine Art will host a summer concert series with various dates held June - September. Listeners are invited to ask the performers questions and see their instruments at close hand.
FIDDLERS THREE will return to 'Raise the Rafters" on Sunday, June 11 at 5:00pm.
Introducing Fiddlers Three with fiddling gals Kathy Sommer, Ellen Carlson and Melissa Bragdon Caron. Hear the triple-fiddle sound traveling through fiddle tunes, country and blues with a fabulous band of players. These seasoned performers will be joined by Syracuse guitarist Harvey Nusbaum and Clayton bassist Andrew Willis. The concert will certainly "WOW" the audience with energetic and well-honed fiddle harmonies. This performance is not just for fiddlers though. These gals are inspired by the horns of Chuck Berry, the swing of Bob Wills, sultry violin, country twang, the energy of a contradance, and the hard driving sound of bluegrass.
